Seeking Families

Triple Moon Film Productions is developing a documentary focused on families with loved ones who are still missing, with a focus on missing women of color.

This project is centered on understanding the human impact of these cases, the realities families face, and the broader systems surrounding missing persons. The intention is to approach each story with care, accuracy, and respect, creating space for individuals and families to be seen and heard without sensationalizing their experiences.

We are currently in the early development phase, speaking with families, advocates, and organizations to better understand these experiences and to thoughtfully shape the direction of the film.

Who We’re Hoping to Connect With

We are hoping to connect with:

  • Family members of individuals who are currently missing

  • Individuals who are open to sharing their experiences and perspectives

  • Individuals from all backgrounds and communities

While this project centers on missing women, with a particular focus on women of color, we are also open to speaking with families of missing men as the project continues to evolve.

No prior media experience is necessary.

What Participation Looks Like

At this stage, participation simply begins with a conversation.

  • An initial Zoom call to introduce the project and learn more about your experience

  • No obligation to participate beyond this initial conversation

  • You are welcome to share only what you feel comfortable sharing

If the project moves forward and there is mutual interest, participation may include:

  • An on-camera interview

  • Filming in meaningful locations or environments

  • Continued communication throughout the development process

Participation is entirely voluntary, and individuals may choose to step away at any time.
